Judge Brown has a more extensive judicial record than many of those named in the toon had when they were nominated for the Supreme Court. Am I missing something?
“Hi! I’m Michael Ramirez! Since I failed to do ANY research on Judge Jackson, I decided to base today’s comic strip on the regurgitated nonsense from the Republicans! HAHA! Gimme another Pulitzer!”
Judging from the past records of Kavenaugh and Barret, this is the best yet to come….
Judges and courts are supposed to be IMPARTIAL!
Take for instance Thomas’s willful wife…..he needs to recuse himself from the bench…along with the other two who have tainted backgrounds rump overlooked, just to pack the court!
This is an interesting one- There is a lot of detail and the concepts presented
I have no doubt that Mike thinks vinyl is how judicial records are kept. Considering the technical skill of most of the supreme court I expect that vinyl is too modern and “heathen” compared to the appropriate way of quill and inkwell- and that Mike applauds this idea. I also suspect Mike just learned what a 45 is and wanted to show off. However I’m guessing his target audience STILL doesn’t know what a 45 is and doesn’t want to learn that “Hippie” stuff.
While I see the nod to RBG and most of “barret” under the RBG record I can’t make out the name on the other side to the right of the controllers and to the left of the word “originalists”
I’m not sure what Mr. Ramierez is getting at here. Judge Jackson has about the same amount of experience as any of her colleagues when they were appointed. Most of the fame and note worthy decisions were made AFTER they got to the Supreme Court. In fact of all the criticism being leveled at her right now, not one person has said she is not experienced or qualified enough for the job.
Look at the judicial record of the republican appointees……………legalizing political bribery, from Buckley V Valeo to Citizens United to the most recent defense of republican attacks on voting rights. No wonder the impartiality of today’s SCOTUS is just laughable
That’s what you get when you announce beforehand, “I’ll only nominate a black woman”. Why not get the best out there? Same applies to his V.P. choice. She’s so far in over her head it’s ridiculous.

Ramirez didn’t bother to research her judicial record so he just made up something in line with Republican talking points.

Judge Jackson’s Judicial Record and accomplishments dwarf every single Trump judge, real and imagined, on the SCOTUS.

She’s giving the republicans a chance to show how totally racist they are.
