Still, I’m glad I’m from the far Northwest corner of the U.S. We have Black Widow spiders, but they are not that venomous that far north. How do I know? My grandmother, an amateur naturalist, let one bite her on the arm. She said it was like a bee sting.
Since they are so small I haven’t noticed their eyes yet. But the guy putting in our new shower downstairs found one in the wall, so we had to have an exterminator spray the attic. But now my mom is sure every spider she sees is one. Personally I was very surprised to find they look a lot like daddy long legs with skinnier bodies. One positive though is since they sprayed for spiders the ant problem we had since spring vanished.

Ah…spiders. We are inundated with many species here in New Mexico.

All very well, but what does a little spider need the Atomic Bomb for?

Yay for spiders! If I could be a spider for a day, I would.

I’m in favor of anything that eats flys and other bugs.
