IRS hires relentless, aggressive, intimidating employees. So why not?

Great, not only does the IRS bug taxpayers (in more ways than one), but they’re also now hiring bugs as well? Anyone got a can of RAID? (Okay, I’ll close the door as I leave).

Just read an article that said the IRS is hiring 10000 new people to screw up the returns, sorry I meant process the returns.

Having actually worked on contract at the IRS, I can assure you that they have a very Thorough Background Check for anyone darkening their doors.

You have to provide them with References from every address you have lived at for at least 7 years and a Federal Agent with a Badge & Gun will have an In Person talk with every one of those references. Plus any other “Interested Parties” they might discover along the way.

They will also investigate all your Relatives and any Neighbors you might have loaned a lawn mower to or borrowed a hammer from.

Until they are satisfied, your Job will be to show up at their office every workday morning and do absolutely Nothing. They will allow you to bring in a personally owned Laptop to browse the internet, but you will Not be allowed even a Glimpse of an IRS Computer screen until they are satisfied that you are a Trustworthy, True Blue American.
