That’s not a grin, it’s a grimace. And it’s not about the price of gas: He is (or more accurately some of his oligarch buddies are) having trouble selling: Lots of blue collar types are refusing to unload Russian petrochemicals even though there’s no mandate requiring that.

It is simply amazing how Biden made all of those people buy big gas guzzling cars.

Let’s see…the 1970s. A gentleman who was president warned about the dependence on oil. Hmmmm…

The “patriots” think cheap gas is a Constitutional right.

There was a study out last year that said 70% of all pickup truck owners have zero need for one of those beasts — other than to look tough.

The Babylon Bee reports that Biden has decided to sell Alaska Back to Russia.

That way, drilling for oil will be legal there, and Putin can collect the money.

Um, for some of us a truck is a necessity. Having an apple orchard and pasturing cattle is kind of hard to do without a pickup truck. The price of gas is also why the cost of goods (like apples) are rising, that coupled with inflation.

The US imports about 3% of our oil from Russia. Fact. The US is the biggest oil producer in the the world. Another fact. So… supply isn’t the issue. The real issue is the greed of international Big Oil and the speculators. As long as they have their hands around our neck, they will choke the last dime out of us, no matter what harm they do to our country or the world.

Haven’t the RW cartoonists any originality? I mean, isn’t there more to comment on than what little oil US companies buy from Russia, or rather did buy, since a ban on Russian imports has been enacted. But, Noooo, following the party Meme of the Week is more important, and they all fall into line.

As more Ukrainian civilians are murdered , all some Americans can think about is the price of gas. We can be a selfish lot, can’t we.
