Here’s what an expert says. Long read. Scary. Basically: Don’t think “oh he wouldn’t do…” because, oh, he really wll ! Bear in mind he’s already used fatal nerve agents to kill, with harm to innocent bystanders. And radioactive elements too, also with innocent bystanders harmed. The man not only has no conscience, he ENJOYS using nastiness.

The judgment of history depends on assessment of outcomes both short- and long-term. The present is filled with the noise of those who want action as long as it does not cost them any money or comfort.

Winston Churchill did something. He gave Hitler 24 hours to get out of Poland, or it would be war. Maybe we should do the same, this time with Putin and the Ukraine.

Perhaps 1936 would be a better date for Hitler. March 6, 1936 is the date that Hitler broke the Versailles Treaty by sending soldiers into the Rhineland. This was three years before Hitler’s false flag gambit “justified” his attack on Poland on September 1, 1939, the act which started WW2. The USSR also attacked Poland a couple of weeks later.

Putin has been waging war via social media and hacking against dozens of countries for over a decade. His hackers have taken hostage whole cities in the US, and devastated dozens of companies around the world.

Putin’s social media war delivered the US to one of his “useful idiots” who inflicted terrific damage on the US and NATO. Only Biden with his decades of experience and thousands of international contacts could have put NATO back together as well as, and as fast as, he has done. We lucked out. But we are in real fear that the Putin party in the US, the former Republicans, will regain control of Congress in just a few months. They already control the Supreme Court, and that control will become blisteringly clear in about 100 days from now with rulings that will pit American against American, and which will deny both the rights and the votes of the majority. Putin’s “useful idiots” at Fox News, including both Murdochs who own that tool of disinformation, are waging global war on democracy and have been doing so for decades. Facebook has been, and continues to be, a clear and present danger to the US and the world as it permits Russian bots to drive war and conflict globally.

We are at war. It is a world war. It is a war against the natural world. It is a war against the democratic world. It is a war of money interests against people’s interest.

Trump says Putin ‘was a friend of mine’ in bizarre phone chat with golfer John Daly

Donald Trump was recorded describing Vladimir Putin as his “friend” in a bizarre phone conversation with pro golfer John Daly.

“You know, he was a friend of mine,” the former president told the athlete on speaker phone, as recorded in a viral video. “I got along great with him.”

Trump allegedly praised Hitler as doing ‘a lot of good things,’ new book claims

“Even if it was true that he was solely responsible for rebuilding the economy, on balance you cannot ever say anything supportive of Adolf Hitler,” Kelly reportedly told Trump. “You just can’t.”

The problem with taking action against Putin is that unlike Hitler he has nuclear weapons and is probably deranged enough to use them.

Stop it, especially you, Dotbup. You left wing extremists yammering about President Trump, just stop with your inane ideological yammering. Trump’s been out of office for over a year and everything going down with Putin is on Biden’s watch. I’ve tried real hard not to criticize or otherwise point fingers at Biden during this crisis because he’s the fracking PRESIDENT at a time of war! As mind addled as he is, he doesn’t need distractions and constant attacks while he’s dealing with Putin who’s gone full blown old Soviet. We’re looking at a potential WWIII with Putin threatening to go nuclear and you extreme leftists are still going on about Trump when he has no power to do anything. Give it a break people. Talk about Putin’s atrocities and any possibles solutions.

Do we establish a ‘no fly zone’?

Do we give Poland more F-16, F-15, F35s so they can send their MiG 29s and SU-22s to Ukraine?

How about we send them anti-ship missiles that they’ve been requesting for over a year.

There’s a whole lot more that we could be talking about and writing to our Congress critters in support of Ukraine, but no, you extreme leftists keep yammering about President Trump. This is why you have NO cred in these forums. Get with the real world and the disaster of Ukraine.

Putin took Crimea in 2014, under Obama, and invaded Ukraine in 2022, under Biden, so it’s reasonable to guess that this invasion wouldn’t have happened under Trump because it didn’t.Trump says this is because he told Putin he was ready to drop a bomb on Moscow (“he sort of believed me like 5 per cent or 10 per cent – that’s all you need”), which is embarrassing if a lie and terrifying if true, but it does fit with the substantive record of his administration.

Excerpt from opinion piece in “The Telegraph” a British newspaper. See link below

Trump could have been Russia’s deterrenthttp://digitaleditions.telegraph.co.uk/data/902/reader/reader.html?social#!preferred/0/package/902/pub/902/page/60/article/279334

Remember the Prime Minister of England (Chamberlain) who signed a non-aggression pack with Hitler, giving him what Germany had already taken from Czechoslovakia and prematurely announcing: “Peace for our time!”
