From my perspective (not really very informed) it seems to me that Putin reeks of displaced ego in the form of thinking he can create an empire. Think megalomania with a goal. As for the “genocide” it’s total bulloney and I think everyone — except possibly naive Russians — knows it’s BS.

It’s what Hitler did to Czechoslovakia, and it’s what China did to Tibet.

And what the White Man did to most of the US.

The invasion has begun. Putin’s war against Ukraine has begun. I weep for the citizens of that country. They must be terrified.

POS Putin has mobile crematoriums to hide the evidence. This is a war crime, he and his GQP supporters must face consequences.

How long before US boots are involved? I cringe living through another war…if we make it….

Well, trump and the TRAITORS in the GQP are happy, Pootie-Poo has started a WAR, just as they wished that he would do!! And you KNOW that they support him 100%!!

And so it begins in earnest.

He should do now what hitler did in the closing days of World War Two!

Not much different than what China, multiple nations in Africa.. South America.. the Middle East does/doing/did.. where is that outrage? And what good does outrage do.. there are not enough bullets in the world to change the minds of greedy men.

Its the start of WW3.

Rump and the GQP/magat pro Putin love fest is sickening and anti-democracy/American. Which is exactly what they are.

Ukraine got rid of their nuclear weapons because they believed the Russian lies. Will their allies actually back them now? Lets hope so.

If FOX and every other on-air and on-line conservative media site currently expressing approval and support for Putin continue, will this support ever backfire on them?

I’m not sure what percentage, if any, of their followers will instead choose to support the Biden administration (official USA)/NATO/EU opposition to Russia — and this is indeed, for once, a truly binary selection set from which to choose. If one is with Putin, one is agin’ all the others.

Another thing that may occur: advertisers may have to decide whether they can afford to be associated with “news” and opinion sites which support Russia in its actions against EU/NATO & official USA policy and economic/military opposition to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. I’d LOVE LOVE LOVE it if sufficient US public opinion arose to the degree necessary to result in every business enterprise (with the possible exception of gold sales hustlers) in America and the entire world to pull all their advertising from FOX.

And the American right wing religious Jesus worshipers pray this is finally the end times they have been hoping for.

Putin won’t stop with just Ukraine, he want’s all the countries that had the misfortune of being made part of the Soviet Union in the last century.

My heart goes out to Ukraine. If this frumpy old lady could, I would go back in the Air Force now and join any fight against Russia. Just as we protected the USA from Russia (then calling themselves The Soviet Union) when I was in the Air Force. The Republicans should be ashamed of themselves for supporting Putin’s lie about invading Ukraine, but then again, they lied about why they wanted to invade Iraq, so he is their kind of guy. Deplorable, all of them.

Russia’s largest economy has been money laundering for oligarchs and other rich pricks around the world. Time for the civilized world to seize all their ill gained assets and not return them, ever. Orange Traitor was one of their favorite money launderers and his taxes are going to reflect that. Though, many of his property deals already did. Even when suspect, were never fully scrutinized by the law. Which Putin knows. Ukraine needs more than sanctions on Russia, they need all the help they can get. I am so frustrated that there isn’t more I can do. Sure I could berate politicians in their emails, but I doubt the Republicans even read their emails anymore. About all I have left is to vent on a comment board. A comment board where the complicit bots will be in full force trying to justify Putin and all of his evil deeds. People in Ukraine are being murdered by Putin, and losing the relatively comfortable safety they’ve been able to live in since the fall of the Soviet Union. It’s just unconscionable that any American can support Putin at all.

Ukraine stand strong, be brave. We are with you, as we could all be facing the next attack from fascism.
