Lockdowns?

You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.

There are ALWAYS two sides to every issue. Usually more. And it’s really ASTOUNDING how often ol Al manages to come down on the wrong side no matter what he chooses to bloviate about.

These are all problems, true. And they are all traceable back to ‘Trumps Virus’, no worse than a cold, he said. If we had all worn masks and gotten vaccinated a year or more ago then we would not have those problems now.

For a crowd that exhorts us to always “Follow the science”, Democrats always have a tough time with the “science” part. None of it says that masks are any less (or more) effective than they were six months ago. But the paid GoComics gang perpetually has deceit on their minds…

You know, Al’s toon does show a bit of truth. For the politician, poll numbers are more seemingly important than mere human difficulties. But, as a Dem, I, nevertheless, still hold onto keeping up with the masks and vaccinations. We’ve seen this all before. The Covid seems to be backing off, so we breathe a sigh of relief and move back to normalcy. Then, another surge strikes, ICU’s fill up with patients, people die for lack of a simple vaccine, and we re-mask.

My friends, we’re not out of the woods yet. Covid is still here and another variant is just waiting to show its head. I’m waiting for my second booster and will continue to mask whenever necessary.

In the Alternate Universe, they don’t pay attention to improving infection rates steering guidance on mandates. but then, AL is just being disingenuous or oblivious.
