I do have to admit that the playoffs were not boring this year.
Also, since the NFL adopted the “March Madness” playoff scheme where every team with a better than 500 record can get in, this is the first time both teams are a 4th seed.
Superbowl I was played in early January. Now we’ve added a whole month of playoffs. I guess in another couple of decades the Superbowl will be played in May.
The NFL still has a ways to go to catch the NBA where the playoffs last longer than the regular season.
I am a long time 49er Faithful. I remember attending games when Dick Nolan was coach and when the games were played in Kezar Stadium. I am not really all disappointed at this year’s showing, I mean, after all the head coach is Kyle 28 – 3 Shanahan. Besides, Mr Green, Mr Wiseman and Mr Iguodala will be coming back very soon and Mr Wiggins and Mr Payton and Mr Poole are looking like new members of the Splash Brothers. The Warriors bench could be starters for maybe 28 other teams.
I don’t know. I’ve never really rooted for the Bengals before. But in fairness, I’ve never really rooted for the Rams either. Most years, the Super Bowl holds only an academic interest for me. The NFL and NBA seasons have become analogous to a William Faulkner sentence; they’re so long and complicated that by the time you get to the end, you’ve completely forgotten how they started. (Is the \s really necessary? Here it is for all you Poe’s Law purists out there.)

I am a KC fan, and win or lose, their last two games were a pleasure to watch.

I honestly don’t care about either team, but it seems like the natural order would suggest that Tigers should be able to take Rams.
