Crazy fun story, as always with a nice short dose of Latin!

Hmm What was the priest thinking ?

I just remembered seeing this of my father giving us lit cigarettes on the 4th of July only to be used for fireworks lighting. It was crazy dangerous. He stopped doing it when I was about nine, so he must have heard of some bad experiences. Never did make me feel like taking up smoking, though.

Reminded me of my high school Latin, which I spoke with a Spanish accent because I was studying Spanish at the same time from a teacher with a good accent. It was only occasionally useful over my lifetime, like when I was getting two science degrees in college. However, between the two studies I had a good idea of how Romance languages worked and I can read simple Italian, French and Portuguese.

At least he did not have to change his name to Izquierdo.

I assume this is the reason Pedro’s father never smoked and chewed gum instead.

The priesthood is not for the faint of heart.

H’mmm. I can’t hear my eyebrows, either…….
