You get scritchies. Isn’t that enough?

Even our cats respond to being told they’re good, if only they were being good more often

I never ask a dog a question more than twice. First off it doesn’t really understand the question and secondly, it’s annoying to hear anything more than three times in a row, even if I like it.

One of life’s great mysteries – right up there with “who’s a good boy?”
