I’ve seen bobcats where I live, and they are not something you want to mess with. Canada Lynx are also spotted here in northernmost Maine.
Mystery solved, it’s a Bobcat.
They saw a mountain lion on the bike path that goes through my village last month, not sure about any bobcats.
