Wilberforce out of those six passes caught by the other team. How many were a pick-six.

I tried to be a Quarterback in a bar. All of my passes were dropped (on purpose)..

So, would an interception be still called a completed pass? I was taught differently when I played the game at school.

So, does that mean your glass is half full OR half empty??

Wilberforce was nice enough not to play favorites. His coach, teammates and their families probably didn’t see it in that light though.

As I understand it, a competed pass goes to a receiver on one’s own team. Your pass that goes to a member of the other team is an interception.

I was never much into football as a kid. Basketball was my forte for most of my younger life. Then, while in seminary, I picked up soccer. In that game, everyone has the chance to touch the ball and thus make plays like the quarterback. And several players might receive the ball and score the goal.

You miss Wilberforce’s statement completely. In his young mind – he went 12 for 12 but he knows it went badly and completed 50%. No reason to analyze the rules. Still fun and games for some – not life and death, like some supporters are for their teams. Enjoy life folks.

Still… 12 passes and no incompletions is noteworthy…

I like his gumption. Keep practicing. Tom Brady started out the same way and he’s still doing pretty many years later……

Should’ve stayed with the satisfaction of having a 100% completion rate.

You’re ready for the pros…as long as COVID and/or injuries, keep taking out the starting quarterbacks.
