My mother tried to teach me on this electric organ she got me one year for my birthday. Didn’t work out. And she refused to find a teacher to teach me. She figured that if I refused to learn from her, I wasn’t going to learn from anyone else. Same thing when I needed extra math help. I either had to learn on my own or fail. But she got my brother tutoring, just not me.

Perhaps he doesn’t need lessons…

Wonder how she got good enough to be a teacher by only practicing when she feels like it? I had a career as a session musician & practiced plenty of time when i did not feel like it….that’s how you get good enough that people can recognize the songs you are playing and started when I was 10..
