So that would be a “yes”. Of course simply being reasonably intelligent with or without the labels would be sufficient.

You be surprised how many college grads are unvaccinated

Heck doctor and nurses are unvaccinated, you know the people you assume would be the most informed

So education really doesn’t mean much

Could have just said, “Duh.” :)

Boosted, will get future boosters as necessary.

I’ve been thinking stores should put up signs that say:

Masks mandatory for smart people only.

There are two reasons I got all my shots.

    1. I live with a nurse and she could bring all kinds of things home to me.

    2. I live with a nurse. If I didn’t get them, I’d be sleeping on the couch.

There was an interesting correlation. Red states average 48% vaccinated, blue states 72%. That must mean something.

Being educated does not make you street smart, just book smart!

Being a college graduate does not automatically make you a liberal, but it seems true that many college graduates are liberal. It is certainly possible that education allows one to deduce that the drawbacks of conservative politics are worse than the drawbacks of liberal policies. There isn’t proof of causality, but even Mr. Stahler has made note of it here.

Why I should be a Republican

    I am white

    I am a Christian

    I am male.

    I am over 65.

    I am former military

    I am affluent.

    I live in North Carolina.

Why I am NOT a Republican

My ancestry is Slavic and not Anglo-Saxon. Therefore, I am not white enough.

I am not a Nationalist Evangelical Christian. Therefore, I am not Christian enough.

I do not own a gun. (There is nothing wrong with gun ownership, I just don’t check that box.)

    I passed high school history.

    I passed high school mathematics.

    I passed high school science.

I know how to use Occam’s Razor.

I do not use social media as my primary means of getting news.

I read the book “How to Lie With Statistics.”

I read the book “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.”

I read the books “1984” and “Animal Farm.”

    I read books, period.

    I am college educated.

My military service was in the Air Force as an officer. (Least radicalized of the armed services.)

I took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution.

I have read and understand the Constitution.

I can tell the difference between the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

I’ve lived in many places other than in North Carolina.

    I’ve personally met Holocaust victims.

I personally know illegal immigrants, Muslims, LBGTQ people, homeless people and drug addicts.

    I can remember January 6th, 2021.

I can remember what politicians say from one election to the next.

I know what it is like to be an illiterate foreigner (I spent a lot of time in Japan and Korea and am not fluent in reading Kanji or Hangul).

I drink wine rather than beer – somebody has to keep the stereotype going.
