When have the oil companies ever acted except in their own self interests, defined as max profit for them?

People rely on a finite resource that is increasingly expensive to find, extract, produce, and distribute. Now, what can we do about that? Complain, I guess.

To lower the crude oil price, Montana, ol’ Bill. OPEC and what’s left of the seven sisters are gouging the customer, pretty severely. Also, new oil production in the USA is VERY EXPENSIVE. To pollute all that fracking water ain’t cheap, you know. Saudi’s production costs are in the range of $5/bbl. Ours, more like $45-$50.

Everything is backward from what it should be.

I think that guy in the red hat posts here a lot under many names.

To a GQP, everyone not completely in lockstep with their rhetoric is a “commie” – even people who usually are mostly in step with them… and despite their bullying even their own people, GQPs can’t understand why they continue to lose support…

Magats won’t be happy until they can wear their swastika armbands and get saluted instead of shot.

It’s really quite simple, Lack of U.S. Refining capacity , Lack of storage ( tank farms ) capacity, Lack of shipping capacity , end result , Higher prices ! Aslo called cause and effect !

It’s no WONDER that RWingers hate facts: They are so… real… and you can’t make them change their story by strong-arming them.
