Shouldn’t leave a dog in a car alone. Plus with the windows rolled down.

I have left my dog in the car with windows cracked but only on very cold days. I am never away longer than ten minutes because she knows where the extra keys are in the car.

The dog is pretty good at killing time with a smartphone, too.

I have never left a dog in a car alone, or a child, either. I tried once to make a quick stop with two beagles in the car. The smarter of the two stood up, put both front paws on the horn, and stayed there until I returned. It was rather embarrassing, but I did need to grab something quickly at the drug store. I could hear them from inside, and so could everyone else.

Our new weather forecaster has two really annoying phrases, “like I was just sayin” plus “ be back in a jiff”. Fresh out of school and not familiar with using her time slot efficiently.
