Some folks are all about “You must do what I think is right or you’re harming me.” I find that quite annoying. Things like insisting on (“christian”) prayer in schools or claiming that a woman exercising free will over the use of her body should be illegal. But when we have GOOD SCIENCE to show why we all should do something, and you claim it’s personal choice… well, I’m okay with you harming (only) yourself, but I’m damned if I think your freedom to believe horse (pucky) extends to the point where you’re allowed to infect my aging parent with a deadly disease. Or teach your kid flat lies about science, math, history or politics. I’m okay with you teaching your kids religious silliness, but even there, you (nor I) should be allowed to teach them to hate on the basis of anything but actual behavior.

If they think vaccine mandates are radical, Austria is going to make their unvaccinated stay home. They can only travel to work and store. The USA is not the only place getting fed up with stupid, selfish, shortsighted antivaxxers.

To the extent that there is any truth to this, it is at least in the open and voters can do their own evaluations. On the right we have a brainwashing strategy aimed at undoing the core principles of out democracy with their stop the steal crap.

Republicans are the people who want to control your life. Actually, evidence suggests they prefer to just end your life. On the other hand, there is no such thing as a radical Democrat — they can’t even control their own party.

Yeah, repairing and improving the nation’s infrastructure is so radical.

Marxist Disciple Democrats approve and justify the criminal activity of their savior, The Totalitarian Democrat Communist politicians in Washington. Totalitarian Democrat Communist politicians in Washington are extremists and should be sent to prison for their crimes.

It is Republican/conservatives who try to control people’s lives. conservatives march in lock-step. Step one step outside the line and you are attacked, berated, shunned, bad-mouthed, forced out and lied about. They oppose people having a choice about their own bodies. conservatives oppose regulations made that are to protect people from businesses and industries who refuse to regulate themselves. conservatives block the media from press conferences, support and patronize the media who will lie to Americans. conservatives blatantly lie to Americans, as we see right now with COVID-19.

Democrats give people a choice. There are no federal mandates for masks or vaccination. It is your choice to vaccinate or be tested in order to protect all Americans. Even the ACA, which initially had a mandate to have insurance coverage gave the choice of buying that coverage anywhere you liked, not just through the ACA. And that mandate was actually written by a conservative think tank.

If you want REAL freedom, REAL choice, REAL self government, then anything conservatives present or attach to should be shunned just as we did the monarchy in 1776. conservatives opposed independence then too.

Yeah. Except for women. You still want to control them. Oh, and minorities. Can’t let them vote.
