You do have to wonder. The Arbery judge actually made a pretty good case. He knows the trial will be appealed, either way it goes, so he’s being supremely careful to do what the law requires and document, document, document. The other one, not so much.

If guns were taken out of the equation, would any of this ever have happened?

Rittenhouse should have never been charged with murder. He WILL be acquitted based on the evidence and facts.

The a-holes who murdered Arbery will be found guilty based on the evidence and facts.

For the politically aware audience here I need not recount the right-wing assault on and subversion of the courts in the US. When the Nazis were busily establishing their control of Germany they went after the courts, specifically the judges. (Watch or rewatch Judgment at Nuremberg, a fact-based drama.) So the word of the day is redux.

Maybe not relevant here, but wonder why the mother hasn’t been charged with some kind of crime: Maybe contributing to the delinquency of a minor, maybe illegal transportation of unauthorized firearm across state lines.. ??

Have KE and his support group ever heard of White Privilege? Just because one doesn’t wish to believe in something, doesn’t mean that something doesn’t exist.

I’ve decided to not respond to trumpers anymore. They refuse to learn the truth and instead have temper tantrums about anyone and anything not pro-psychopathic trump. They’ve been sucked in to lies and violence and don’t want to get out. Self-destructive.

As a Christian, I am deeply offended by KE’s dishonesty, cowardice, and utter worthlessness. (Yet, at the end of the day, he is a slightly better person than Beetle…….)

Kyle is nothing more than a snot nosed kid who tried to be a hero by grabbing a gun and jumping into a fray where he had no business being and now there he is sniveling like a baby because ‘bad men’ scared him.

From Paul Waldman of the WashPost: Kyle Rittenhouse’s story is a tragedy. The right thinks it’s a triumph

I’m not a conservative, but if I was, I would hope my thoughts about Kyle Rittenhouse would run something like this: “The violence that occurred in Kenosha was unacceptable, but that doesn’t justify vigilantism. Rittenhouse was a dumb kid pumped up by the fantasy of saving the day with his gun, but he didn’t go there intending to murder anyone. He should be acquitted because he acted in self-defense, but we shouldn’t forget that two people are dead, which is a terrible tragedy.” That’s not my opinion, but I do think it’s about the most generous gloss you can honestly put on those events.

If he’s acquitted, they’ll see little more than another opportunity to Own the Libs. And it will be all the more likely that more deluded right-wingers will show up to protests, armed and looking for trouble.

Everything the Nazis did to the Jews, Homosexuals, Mentally ill, Gypsies, and other groups was completely legal in Germany at the time. The Nazis wrote the laws, controlled the judiciary and the elections.

Sound familiar with what is happening now?
