Fred Rogers was a gift. And yet the Turd Reich attacked him.
Aaron “Moron” Rodgers is a toxic train wreck lying sack o’ crap. And yet the Turd Reich kisses his a$$ and the NFL is now just the Nutjob FluKluxKlan Losers.
His choice to be unvaccinated doesn’t bother me. The team and league knowing he was unvaccinated doesn’t bother me. His choice not to follow league protocols and both the team and league gave him a pass until he was outed on media is the problem I have. When Rodgers became positive, did the team quarantine any other players that met the close contact protocols? We saw other teams do it. Supporting prima donna behavior while punishing the other players based on their popularity.
And a black man who takes a knee at the advice of a Green Beret, but hurting no one is ostracized by the NFL and loses his sponsors, but when this white man lies about his vaccination status, breaking an NFL rule and exposing teammates and players on other teams to a highly contagious and potentially deadly virus, he receives the minimum consequence, and his sponsor, an industry based on trust and fidelity, turns a blind eye. DOUBLE STANDARDS
Aaron “Burr” Rodgers proved that he is fundamentally dishonest, and therefore no intelligent person should ever believe anything he says without first verifying it. He also advertised himself as being easy prey for con artists. He wasn’t doing much else last weekend, so I wonder if he was at Dealey Plaza. I know, he is supposed to be in quarantine, and he SAID that he was in quarantine. But because he is a known chronic liar, we’d best check with the locator Joe Rogan slipped into his horse de-wormer. (By the way, Aaron Burr betrayed the United States while Aaron “Burr” Rodgers betrayed his team, for those wondering why the nickname.) And. let’s face it, taking medical advice from Joe Rogan is something like taking giat advice from a dwarf.
And the problem goes beyond his dishonesty. That “woke mob” insane tantrum he threw makes me wonder just how unstable and reactionary this bozo really is.
Initial disclaimer: I’m a lifelong Green Bay Packer fan and think that Aaron Rodgers is arguably the best quarterback ever to play the game. He’s been thotful, considerate, and well spoken in every interview I’ve ever heard him give. That said …
He decided not to get the COVID vaccine based on the advice he got from a homeopathic-favoring sports-radio talk-show host. “It’s not as good as natural immunity”, he was informed. And evidently believed.
First off, the CDC emphatically disagrees. (You know, the CDC, the medical experts on infectious diseases who actually have at their disposal the facts, based on controlled testing instead of anecdotes and rumors.)
But secondly, how does one acquire natural immunity at all? It’s by catching the disease, surviving it, and having antibodies floating around in your system that’ll recognize the virus next time you’re exposed to it and should know better how to fight it off the second time.
So what’s the plan, Stan? In order for the entire country to gain “natural immunity”, we’re all going to have to catch the disease. Sure, somebody in tip-top physical condition like Aaron Rodgers probably figures it’s a safe bet that he’ll be on the winning side of that 98% survival rate, but how many people WOULDN’T be?
Actually, it’s not that hard to figure out. Lemme see here … hmmm … 2% of 300 million Americans would be, uh-huh … 6 million corpses. (Gee, why does that number seem hauntingly familiar?)
So I think what we have here isn’t a dumb guy, or one with a hyper-inflated ego, what we’ve got is an example of Shermer’s Law: “Smart people believe weird things because they are skilled at defending beliefs they arrived at for non-smart reasons.”
All he had to do was give it to two people, who could give it to two people, and so on, and so on. That’s why it’s important for people to get vaccinated and stop being dishonorable and lying about not being vaccinated.

He didn’t say he was “vaccinated”, he said he was “immunized” (probably at he Trump-Immanuel Medical clinic).

Wouldn’t it be terrible if they miss out of playoffs by one game.

One thing to be grateful for… he didn’t replace Alex Trebek.

Not “could have spread it”, but “did spread it”. Hope your burial insurance is in order.

Gotta say, I have NEVER read anything that indicated Aaron Rogers was an unselfish person or player. Why is anyone surprised by this?
