I’d try to explain that there are different KINDS of difficulties, and some are worse than systemic racism. But not only can Bok not understand why people think he’s racist, he is utterly immune to anything resembling nuance. And suggesting that people have multiple reasons for doing things… and actually can compare the value of one option with the value of another… is FAR too nuanced for him to get.
“You People” realized that “This Country” is worth to “Die For” compared to where they came from. They aren’t tourists without proper visas wanting to see Disneyland.
Hmm either suffer from hunger, corruption, and gang violence or just the racism in parts of America that has people actively trying to fix it? Choices, choices, choices.
All the truly great racists of our time refuse to acknowledge their racism. They are quick to deny that it still exists. They are even quicker to expose the perceived racism in others, often using it to justify their own (still unacknowledged) racism. All the while crafting intricate leguslation designed to deny rights to others due to race while still proclaiming themselves free of the taint of racism.
We call these people Republican legislators and their supporters.

The powers in this country, the top 5% that control 85% of all the wealth, are in favor of immigration, preferably illegal immigrants. They work cheap, never complain, and can be fired at any time. Don’t look for meaningful ‘immigration reform’,it won’t happen.
Racism is alive and well in the U.S. The educational system, the medical system, law enforcement, housing, the criminal justice system. Any denying its existence are choosing to not see.
Interestingly after Biden got in… more people are trying to get into the US from the southern border, and less Americans are trying to get out of the US through the northern border. Almost like the change in presidency had an impact on people’s desire to be in the country.
Mr. Bok, Tucker Carlson and Matt Gaetz have given permission to use the term “The Great Replacement”. It’s no longer something to nudge-nudge, wink-wink about. Finally, some honesty from the far right.
No longer any need to be as subtle as you were today.
So, the people who brought you anti-abortion laws now want to re-open gay rights – another settled legal precedent. Or so we have thought.
As MSNBC’s Jessica Levinson argues in a column last week, “After scoring an initial victory in their mission to eviscerate women’s constitutionally protected right to obtain access to an abortion, some in the conservative movement have already explicitly moved on to attacking LGBTQ rights, which suggests they’re gunning for all your constitutionally protected rights — at least those not dealing with guns.”
The same Jonathan Mitchell who is seeking termination of abortion as legally valid argues in his Mississippi abortion case challenge due for hearing in December that women can have no protected right to abortion because it was never written in the Constitution.
Further, in the same brief, Mitchell suggested he’s coming for Lawrence v. Texas, the 2003 decision in which the Supreme Court ruled that laws that criminalize sodomy are unconstitutional, and Obergefell v. Hodges, the 2015 ruling in which the court concluded that the Constitution protects the rights of same-sex couples to marry.
No, they don’t realize it. They believe the good press we give ourselves about being a bastion of liberty and justice for all, and that’s why they come. I know you want to disabuse them of that notion, and don’t worry — they will be.
“We’re in a situation where we have put together, and you guys did it for President Obama’s administration before this, we have put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.” — Uncle Sniffy
I’ve heard many republicans say the borders are open, but not one democrat. Of course, the repubs are saying “open borders” accusing the dems are saying that, but it gets a massage out there that the borders are open. Of course they are not. It’s just like watching the trolls here. The repubs say all this stuff for the benefit of their followers to keep them in their pocket.

Remember the Juicy Smollay lynching hoax? Chicago was so short of white racists, Juicy had to import two of them from Nigeria.

Systemically racist, but one can make a living, feed the kids and not worry about being shot every time one goes out.

Did pretty much the same under DJT, even after he called out the national guard. Wasted money on that and a wall that all falls down.

There are a lot of good things here. That doesn’t change the fact it obviously IS systemically racist. OBVIOUSLY.

And America IS Systemically and Institutionally Racist, and you’re a pig for trying to mock that reality.
