I’d try to explain that there are different KINDS of difficulties, and some are worse than systemic racism. But not only can Bok not understand why people think he’s racist, he is utterly immune to anything resembling nuance. And suggesting that people have multiple reasons for doing things… and actually can compare the value of one option with the value of another… is FAR too nuanced for him to get.

“You People” realized that “This Country” is worth to “Die For” compared to where they came from. They aren’t tourists without proper visas wanting to see Disneyland.

The powers in this country, the top 5% that control 85% of all the wealth, are in favor of immigration, preferably illegal immigrants. They work cheap, never complain, and can be fired at any time. Don’t look for meaningful ‘immigration reform’,it won’t happen.

Racism is alive and well in the U.S. The educational system, the medical system, law enforcement, housing, the criminal justice system. Any denying its existence are choosing to not see.

Interestingly after Biden got in… more people are trying to get into the US from the southern border, and less Americans are trying to get out of the US through the northern border. Almost like the change in presidency had an impact on people’s desire to be in the country.

Texas, the 2003 decision in which the Supreme Court ruled that laws that criminalize sodomy are unconstitutional, and Obergefell v. Hodges, the 2015 ruling in which the court concluded that the Constitution protects the rights of same-sex couples to marry.

I’ve heard many republicans say the borders are open, but not one democrat. Of course, the repubs are saying “open borders” accusing the dems are saying that, but it gets a massage out there that the borders are open. Of course they are not. It’s just like watching the trolls here. The repubs say all this stuff for the benefit of their followers to keep them in their pocket.
