There’s too much danger of the face being licked.

Marm just loves a good bone !

You just call out my name

And you know, wherever I am

I’ll come runnin’

To see you again

Winter, spring, summer or fall

All you have to do is call

And I’ll be there

You’ve got a friend

Or, DON’T give him the bone, and you’ll be in fear for your life!

I stop by the butcher shop and pick up a half-dozen raw beef leg bones for my friend’s Norwegian Elkhounds (the long ones, not the short sections) when I go out to the kennel, then stop at the green-grocer and buy a pack of carrots for her horse. I’ve got friends for life there.
