I believe I’ve shared this story elsewhere on this site, but not here. My wife is a quadriplegic. While we were dating, she asked me to go into her closet and retrieve “the blue shoes.” Well, she had several pairs of blue shoes, and after the third “no, not that pair” I looked at her and asked, “Why does a woman who can’t walk need fifteen pairs of shoes?”
And that’s the story of the first time she gave me The Look.
