There are fridges with surfaces that can be easily cleaned of crayons and markers, even permanent markers. And interior paint that resists or is easily cleaned of crayon and ink. If you ever have a situation where you need to remove permanent marker, draw over the permanent marker with an erasable marker. The erasable marker ink has a solvent in it that makes it erasable and it you let it sit on the permanent for a few minutes (5 – 6 minutes) it will come off fairly easily.
