Common sense, critical thinking, and taking time to check veracity of reports, are Not popular these days. Why? I suggest it’s because these things require effort to examine one’s positions; they also require accepting personal responsibility for choices. How tiresome to be … a grown up. :/
I believe that Biden could have, but didn’t mandate the vaccine. It has been done before, but that was back before social media and am hate radio when people actually thought vaccinations did some good. Like oh I don’t know, the Polio vaccine.
Now, far to many gullible stupid people. Along with some RQP Govs who think being anti vaccine and ordering schools not to mandate masks will get them elected president. So many really stupid people
I fear that now that vaccinations (or, as indicated above, the Covid19 vaccination) have become so politicized, that FREEDUMB lovin’ parents will start resisting all vaccines for their children – and we will be back to dealing with ongoing resurgence of measles, mumps, rubella, whooping cough, chickenpox, etc for decades to come.
Measles vaccine: Traditional (and not mandated by bureaucratic edict)Mumps vaccine: Traditional (and not mandated by bureaucratic edict)Tetanus vaccine: Traditional (and can cause breathing difficulties, etc.) (and not mandated by bureaucratic edict)Hepatitis vaccine: Traditional (causes anaphylaxis , rarely, but still) (and not mandated by bureaucratic edict)Polio vaccine: Traditional (and the first rollout in 1955 gave polio to 40,000 people) (and not mandated by bureaucratic edict)Covid vaccine: Never been done before and, even though covid’s only a little more deadly than the flu, 50% are asymptomatic, 40% barely notice it and people are suspicious of the high-pressure campaign.
OUR Freedoms, not the Selfish, Irresponsible, Misanthropic, Self-Entitled, Psychotic Whining of Cowardly Snowflakes scared of a safe, effective shot and protective masks.
The rights, freedoms and liberties are ours; the decent, vaccinated, mask-wearing majority are the only ones relevant in this situation

I am reminded of a tv show, from 1950’s, ‘you asked for it’. Now they are getting it.

I am reminded of a tv show, starring Groucho Marx ‘you bet your life’. Now they are.
