I guess I’m the only one confused what this means. From what I can find, “If all the ice covering Antarctica , Greenland, and in mountain glaciers around the world were to melt, sea level would rise about 70 meters (230 feet)” which is nowhere near the height of the skyscraper King Kong climbed. So is the point that climate change people are so ridiculous they think this could happen? Or what is the point?
We know the problem. The question is, what are we going to do about it. A taller sea wall, a bigger levee? Bandaids, but a nice place to pour billions of dollars.
Climate change is the biggest challenge we have ever faced, and it’s largely our own fault. If we do nothing, we are in real trouble. Adapting to the changes isn’t going to work if the changes produce unlivable circumstances.

Is Payne trying to mock rising sea levels by exaggerating with what I think is a poorly drawn King Kong?

Well I’ll be darned. Payne actually produced a ‘toon that’s topical and cute… maybe even clever. That’s ONE !!

Charming. Payne is joking while NY hasn’t recovered all the bodies yet.

Knowing Payne’s opinion of climate change, I think this is more about the one rainfall than the overall picture.

Man can no more affect the than he can make the sun go up and down. God is the one that controls it!
