Elevators made in the midwest don’t have door close buttons. That would be rude.

You can lead a horse to an elevator, but you can’t make him push the right button…

Working nights, I need to sleep during the day and most of the house has too much light and noise

The walk in closet at the back of the house is large, enough room for a single bed mattress on the floor

I think what we see in the first panel is a “long bolt”.

Honestly, I’m surprised Horace isn’t always taking the stair by now. He’s suffered everything but the “Trekkie” getting in, saying “Bridge” and pushing every blasted floor button. :)
