Looks to me like they’re using the gray/purple scenes a lot so that they don’t have to worry about people complaining about the inconsistencies in the characters’ hair and clothing colors.

And speaking of complaining, I hope you haven’t been complaining about how long it took for today’s Mopped Up Thorp to be posted.
