It’s so easy to detect the lies and conspiracy theories yet the authoritarian, anti-democrarcy, cohort does not trust their fellow citizens’ voting choice … but rather pledge their loyalty to an incompetent, but charismatic, populist.
As I posted on a different editorial cartoon, what qualifications does Mr. Walker have for the Senate? Public Service should be considered a learned career, not a vanity project. If he really wants to serve, more power to him. But run for local office and learn what it means to be a public servant.
We just had four years of complete incompetence in the White House by a con man who was completely in over his racist head. I bet President Biden won’t be tossing paper towels at the survivors of Hurricane Ida.
The facts that he has shown absolutely no qualifications to be a U.S. Senator will, of course, be ignored by the followers of the MAGAt Mullah, who endorses Walker. Just look at Alabama where a former college football coach with no political experience won his U.S. Senate race (Tuberville). The GOP party in GA is trying to get better candidates interested in running against Walker, ones who don’t carry his baggage and liabilities.
Let him run, he’s a friggin’ moron with no experience who only knows how to repeat BS conspiracy theories. Oh wait, that makes him the perfect candidate for Georgia…
Once again, people are rushing to promote a candidate solely because he repeats what they want to hear and because he has popular name recognition. Doesn’t matter to them that he has no governmental experience.
Reminds me of when Richard Petty ran for North Carolina Secretary of State in 1996. Petty is a good guy and quite popular, but had only a little local government experience. His inexperience showed when he not only was unable to effectively campaign, but also earned public disapproval by treating Interstate road driving as if it were a racetrack (he pleaded guilty to bump-drafting another motorist) – it indicated that he could make impulsive and possibly fatal decisions. Petty lost by a lot… like Walker, Petty was picked to represent the GOP…

Trump paid him a lot of money in the course of destroying the new league.
Everything Trump touches dies.

Ah, he hasn’t voted in a long time. His wife was living in TX and voted in GA. Voter fraud.

Hopefully, all he gets is a participation ribbon.

Arguably the biggest bust in Minnesota Viking history, now he’ll do the same for the Senate…
