The joke in panel 2 only really works if Rob pronounces memo with a long ‘e’.

I’m sure Bucky will know about the fire before Rob. He’ll probably be the cause of it

Scrums aren’t that orderly. I’ve been kissed, bit, and once I stuck my fingers up the nostrils of the loose head prop on my shoulder and yanked. He forgot all about scratching my hooker’s face.

Children should be told if there is a fire, leave the pets and get out NOW! Most kids will hide, so I kind of feel obligated to do a small public service announcement that really doesn’t relate to the topic, other than Pinkish here will grab his pets first. An adult can make a rational decision as to if he has time. A child will hide under the bed or in a closet with the pets.

N.B. to R. Wilco: there are two definitions of “scrum”: scrum/skrəm/

    nounnoun: scrum; plural noun: scrums

1.Rugbyan ordered formation of players, used to restart play, in which the forwards of a team form up with arms interlocked and heads down, and push forward against a similar group from the opposing side. The ball is thrown into the scrum and the players try to gain possession of it by kicking it backward toward their own side.2.Britisha disorderly crowd of people or things.“there was quite a scrum of people at the bar”
