Taliban spokesman uses GOP talking point on ‘big tech’ censorship when asked about freedom of speech

“This question should be asked to those people who are claiming to be promoters of freedom of speech who do not allow publication of information,” the spokesperson said. “I can ask [the] Facebook company.”

In recent months, conservatives in the United States have accused “big tech” companies like Facebook and Twitter of censoring free speech after a number of people were banned from social media platforms for inciting violence and promoting medical misinformation.

Trump set the table and Biden had no choice. We either left or increased troops. The American people wanted out. Biden wanted out. Everyone knew this was going to happen.

Since a GOP administration got us in, we’re all in this together and it’s Uncle Sam’s black eye. If a Democratic administration had done it, it would be directly blamed on them.

Ramirez can’t wat for American deaths, so he’ll settle for Afghani.

Biden is the American president, Mike. Let’s get our troops out and then try to help Afghanistan.

That black eye has been growing for twenty years, covered up by the military-industrial complex.

The MIC got us into Afghanistan and made a bundle over the last 20 years. The Biden administration’s failure in getting us out wasn’t the “if” or the “when” but the “how”.

Republicans were long in favor of nation building and spreading democracy by force.

    Then they weren’t.

    Now… ???

I, against my brothers. I and my brothers against my cousins. I and my brothers and my cousins against the world. That is the essence of tribalism. There is no loyalty to a nation or state, only to one’s tribe. Until the tribe is threatened, they will not care.

A vast majority of Afghan police and military looked at their work as a job for a paycheck, not protecting the nation. So when the going got tough, they just walked away.

After routing Bin Laden, we should have left. Instead, toss in a few dozen cruise missiles or carpet bomb a poppy field every once in a while to remind the Afghans what will happen if they let terrorists have a safe haven in their forsaken country again. Hurt them, but deny them a target for a response.

Nation-building in a region where people don’t understand or want a nation will always fail.

From the Terrorists’ Handbook, Page One.

The Problem: You are a very small, radical, extremist group that wishes to control your own country but the people hate you and will not support your efforts.

    The Solution: Attack America.

The Result: The Americans will come charging in, guns blazing, killing citizens, bombing buildings, destroying the economy, and trying to impose their foreign values on your people. They now hate the Americans even more and flock to your banners as they have given you legitimacy.

The End Game: Eventually, the Americans get bored and leave, and you now control your country. Works every time.

It was a stupid no-win war for 20 years. Trump’s agreement with the Taliban (where they released 5,000 Taliban prisoners, etc] and reduced US troops was hailed by Republicans and Trump thought it merited a Nobel Peace Prize..

Jumpy Puppet Joe does it again! He pulled the US troops out before assuring American citizens where brought to safety. Leaving 10,000 + US Citizens in limbo.

Biden = WPE (Worst President Ever). No one has achieved that award quicker. It took Obama and Carter a couple of years to get there. Well done, Sleepy Joe.

If you are going to blame someone, I would suggest Bush and Cheney. Without them we never would have gone there in the first place.
