Did you see that Lauren Boebert laughed at the Afghanis falling from the planes to their deaths. She was also one of 14 Q-publicans who voted against the visas for Afghanis who helped us.
Failure of military intelligence for how quickly the nation would fall or failure to listen to military intelligence? Either way, a big failure in getting Afghanis who assisted out first.
The biggest criticism I have is not in pulling out — that was necessary and inevitable. It’s in not dispensing with the red tape and telling the Taliban that we would leave once we evacuated all those who helped us and wished to go. Biden actually could still go to them and say, “We are going to evacuated the people we want. Let us do so unhindered, and we’ll soon be out of your way. If you challenge us, however, we will come back in force and make your lives miserable. Your choice.”
Of course, Republicans would scream bloody murder if we tried to bring the 100,000+ Afghanis into the US. They certainly would not like to see all those non-whites enter the country.
There was no political will to do what had to be done. Set up a military viceroy as we did in Japan. Then ruthlessly seek out and kill all the resisting Taliban and other jihadists. No arrest, no trial, just kill them. And give them the death of an infidel.

Yes I can. He said he would and so did #45. But we know which one is more likely to be lying.

Ugh, when you take criticism from that orange idiot and know Obama continued the policy, well, just ugh.

Remember when liar Trump promised to end the mid east wars?
Republicans thought that was a popular idea.

Biden is big enough to take criticism, even undeserved criticism. Trump goes into meltdown at the least criticism. Just an observation.

President Biden: a man with enough backbone and courage to get us out of this Bush/Cheney disaster.
