I vaguely remembered reading about the death of Archie a few years ago. The Wikipedia article on Archie Andrews has the details of his murder and its aftermath.

I read a few Archie comics when I was in grade school, because I’d heard that reading comics was cool. I was heartbroken when I was older and realized I’d missed out on Marvel and DC comics!
