That’s exactly what Gallagher’s syndicate editor said after reviewing today’s entry.

Heathcliff needs to paws and reflect. I wouldn’t drink that rubbish!

Might work, it seems they have been making gin out of everything lately, maybe even vodka, so pile it into the bath tub and let it ferment.

A little bit like the “Calvin and Hobbes” strip where Calvin was trying to sell a concoction of dirty water, but Hobbes told him that no one would want to pay to drink that, so because of that, Calvin then added to his sales pitch that he’ll pay anybody not to drink any.

Right – yeeccchhh!!
