It turns out that in Dec. he told the AG and Assistant AG to declare the election corrupted so he and some “R Congressmen could take it from there.” (notes just released by the DOJ)

It started with the 24 states that passed laws making voting harder and if that doesn’t work then they can just use the newlaws to override the results they don’t like. Hopefully AG Garland can help with these new Jim Crowers.

‘Seditious conspiracy’: Trump critics stunned after Mark Meadows mentions ‘cabinet’ meetings at Bedminster

An appearance on Friday night on Newsmax by Donald Trump’s last White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, set off a flurry of angry comments by critics of the former president after Meadows said they are holding “cabinet” meetings at the Trump National Golf Club.

Repeating “cabinet members” multiple times while speaking with Newsmax host Steve Cortes, Meadows added, “Well, we met with several of our cabinet members tonight, we actually had a follow-up member, meeting with some of our cabinet members, and as we were looking at that, we were looking at what does come next. I’m not authorized to speak on behalf of the president, but I can tell you this Steve, we wouldn’t be meeting tonight if we weren’t making plans to move forward in a real way, with president Trump at the head of that ticket.”

Twitter commenters were quick to question what they are discussing with others wondering if they realize the Trump administration was ousted in last November’s presidential election.

’You’re all —-ed’ up’: Trump exploded after his officials warned against using military troops to end George Floyd protests, book says

Milley and Esper spoke against Trump using troops to blunt the Floyd protests, per a new book.

Trump was intrigued with the idea of invoking the Insurrection Act, according to the book.

During the early days of the protests, Trump was concerned that the US appeared out of control.

When Trump mentioned the 1960s race riots to justify the use of troops to restore order, Milley threw cold water on the suggestion, part of a longer discussion that resulted in the president cursing out his top military advisors, which Leonnig and Rucker detailed in “I Alone Can Fix It: Donald J. Trump’s Catastrophic Final Year.”

“Mr. President, it doesn’t compare anywhere to the summer of sixty-eight,” Milley said, according to the book. “It’s not even close.”

After senior advisor Stephen Miller chimed in to declare the protests as “an insurrection,” Milley pointed to a portrait of former President Abraham Lincoln, who led the country through the American Civil War.

“Mr. President, that guy had an insurrection,” Milley said, according to the book. “You don’t have an insurrection. When guys show up in gray and start bombing Fort Sumter, you’ll have an insurrection.”

Trump entertained the idea of invoking the Insurrection Act, which would let him deploy troops across the country to quell any civil disorder or insurrection, but Milley and Esper continued to fight against the idea.

“How do you think this looks to hostile countries?” Trump said, according to the book. “They see we can’t even control our own capital city and the space around the White House!”

‘This reeks of criminal intent’: Bombshell notes expose extent of Trump’s pressure on DOJ

Notes from conversations between the president and DOJ officials detail his aggressive push to have the department validate the wild conspiracy theories about election fraud that he fomented, despite the lack of evidence.

On Dec. 27, when told the department couldn’t “snap its fingers” and “change the outcome of the election,” Trump said, “Don’t expect you to do that, just say that the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me and the R. Congressmen,” according to the notes.

These new revelations follow a recent report from the Washington Post that Trump called acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen about the election almost daily at the end of 2020 about the election. Bill Barr had resigned as attorney general in part because of his split with Trump on the legitimacy of the election.

Trump repeatedly pressed the department to investigate the wild claims of election fraud that percolated in right-wing media and corners of the internet at the time, which were repeatedly debunked. At one point, having been told that certain claims he was pushing were simply untrue, Trump reportedly responded: “Ok fine — but what about the others?”

George Conway, a conservative lawyer, argued on Twitter that the evidence could support a potential criminal case against the president.

‘Smoking gun’: Nicolle Wallace says new evidence spells trouble for Trump and ‘coup accomplices’

“On December 27, 2020 — just 11 days before his supporters would storm the U.S. Capitol with the stated goal of hanging Mike Pence and disrupting the certification of Joe Biden’s win, Donald Trump engaged in an insurrection of his own, calling the acting attorney general of the United States and directing him to declare the election corrupt and then, ‘leave the rest to me,’” Wallace reported.

She then went over DOJ officials’ notes in which they document how Trump asked them to declare the 2020 election “corrupt” as a pretext for staying in power.

“The notes pointing to Trump’s perceived coup accomplices are now in the hands of those members’ peers in the House Oversight and Reform Committee, which is investigating Trump’s efforts to overturn his defeat,” she explained. “The notes also illuminate a well worn theme of the Trump presidency, the ex-president’s imperviousness to facts.”

Litman said, “it couldn’t have been more flagrantly improper. The exact thing the Department of Justice never can do is simply announce something corrupt without taking action, they must file a lawsuit based on evidence.”

“This is going to be amplified and a lot more where this came from,” Litman predicted.

Trump started speaking in the third person during a heated discussion with Bill Barr regarding the election results, book says

Trump spoke in the third person during a heated discussion with Bill Barr over voter fraud, per a new book.

Trump was incensed that Barr dismissed claims of mass voter irregularities during an AP interview.

Barr eventually resigned from his post just weeks after the AP interview.

After the interview, Barr then headed to the White House for a previously scheduled meeting with chief of staff Mark Meadows, where he was told by Meadows that Trump would be “livid” at the election-related statements from the interview, according to a new book by Washington Post reporters Carol D. Leonnig and Philip Rucker.

Barr was told by White House counsel Pat Cipollone that Trump wanted to see him in his private dining room, where the president was watching the right-leaning One America News Network (OANN).

The scene was tense, as “everything about the president telegraphed that he was in a barely contained rage,” and even resulted in him switching to the third person, which Leonnig and Rucker detailed in “I Alone Can Fix It: Donald J. Trump’s Catastrophic Final Year.”

Trump immediately questioned Barr about the Associated Press interview, where he threw cold water on the president’s ongoing voter-fraud claims.

“Bill did, you say this?” Trump asked in a “sharp and quick” manner, according to the book.

After Barr confirmed that he had indeed made the statement, Trump questioned him again.

“How could you say this?” Trump said, according to the book. “Why didn’t you just not answer the question?”

The president raised his voice and peculiarly began to speak in the third person.

“There’s no reason for you to have said this!” he said, according to the book. “You must hate Trump!”

The Arizona ‘audit’ is a clown show. But it may have accomplished exactly what the trumptards may really be after.A Secret enemies list with the names and address of Democrat voters taken directly from all those ‘fraudlent’ mail in ballot envelopes.

“Contractors hired by Arizona Senate Republicans to oversee a partisan review of the 2020 election said Thursday that they don’t have enough information to complete their report, and urged legislators to subpoena more records and survey voters at home.”

“Among the records cyber ninja’s are seeking are images of mail-in ballot envelopes.”

I may have put address info on mine…force of habit ya know.Hope no one else put a return address sticker on their ballot envelope.

GOP senator pans Trump’s efforts to whitewash his insurrection: ‘The nation saw it on television’
