EVERYBODY needs some time off. And SOME of us (unlike Painful Payne) actually work to such a point that we DESERVE time off. (Not me, I’m retired). Simon Biles really was about as close to Wonder Woman as anybody I’ve paid attention to lately, and it’s very sad that she found herself unable to reach the incredible peak of concentration that it takes to do gymnastics safely, much less at the Olympic level. She’s already done more than 99.9% of us could possibly do, and she’s done it under circumstances that few of us have ever faced (not few ENOUGH), including being sexually assaulted by the team physician. She is Wonder Woman, imo… and partly that’s “I wonder how she ever did it!”
PS: Payne may not deserve time off, but the rest of us would find it a relief if he took some anyway!

The United States has Lot’s of Wonder Women competing in Tokyo. Biles wasn’t the only Athlete.
