Or at least change the abuse you receive. The civil suits demanding that you cover the lifetime costs for emotional-trauma therapy for the kids involved might be just as bothersome. I know that lawyers are reluctant to sue sharks (professional courtesy) but you’d be too attractive a target to pass up.
Better just suck it up, accept that you have a lousy job, and hope that one or two of them slip into the big tank and are eaten by a real shark.
My daughter was terrified of sharks. even as a little kid she couldn’t watch a TV show with a shark puppet. When she was in college (San Diego) she took us to the zoo but wouldn’t go through the shark exhibit with us. It was her only phobia. I don’t know if she’s ever outgrown it.
a buddy once talked me into wearing a reindeer suit to help him with a christmas sales promotion. why people feel the need to whack a costume helmet is a mystery, but it gets real old after one or two whacks…

A pocket recording of a certain theme might help.

Just break into a verse of “Baby Shark” and you will see some real abuse!

It’s especially funny when Mickey Mouse does it. :)

Oh, it would help reduce the abuse you get.

It’s funny how “reduce” and “abuse” (as a noun) rhyme.

I don’t think any kids would get near a shark that has a man’s head in its mouth. Pretty scary.

Pull kids into the costume’s mouth with what? Those two small fins?

The solution is also the problem.
