For several Tennessee politicians they desperately need a lifeguard when wading in the pool of thought and sense. Stuff like not playing with fire puts them well into the deep end. Thinking about anybody but their Turd Reich masters puts them at the very bottom of the Marianas Trench.

Just one more example of a politician that’s more concerned about being re-elected than he is about the health of his constituents.

I guess they couldn’t find any elected politician of the governing party who give a damn.

Half a century ago most — but not all — “Republicans” cared more about America than just the 25-30% that comprised their base and did not try to impose theire ideology on defenseless children.

C’mon. It’s all according to the Trump basic strategy:

    “We WANT them infected!”

They didn’t just fire the top top state official for vaccine outreach to physicians, for doing her job re. COVID, they stopped ALL vaccine outreach.

Literal insanity. How does it make any sense to kill off your own supporters, even if it’s only 2% of them? And there are at least dozens if not hundreds of politicians who are not just supporting this insanity but cheering for it.

    I weep for the people.

Party over people. It’s how the GOP works these days. There’s also a religious component. Barry Goldwater warned the Republican Party in 1964 not to get involved with the preachers but they didn’t listen. Greed does that to you.
