Wisdom does not guaranteed worldly wealth just as the possession of wealth does not equate to the possession of wisdom. A lot of idiots have a lot of money.

I’d go for a cruise ship in the Mediterranean if I were all that wise. Give lectures in a big air conditioned hall and get the trip for free, or even get paid.

Does make you wonder why people think they’re so wise.

“Wise” and “smart” are not the same thing. And “competent” is not the same as either.

For that matter, a yacht in the Mediterranean sounds preferable to me to sitting in front of a computer screen in old Chicagoland….
