In every society since the start of history, whenever you broke down any population this way, you’d always get a pyramid. But from 1960 to 2060, our pyramid will turn into a rectangle. We’ll have almost as many Americans over age 85 as under age 5. This is the result of longer life spans and lower birthrates.
I understand many great products (actually Pandora’s box) have come from the space program. I wish the country (and later/now the billionaires) would focus on how grand it would be to spend huge funds on ending climate change so Gaia and all her living beings could have a healthy environment here at home.
But, OF COURSE, The Tangerine Palpatine claims that it’s all HIS DOING that Billionaires can go into space… what a sad, pathetic little man, having to try to build up his ego by LYING ALL THE TIME.
Here’s a thought… NO ONE has EVER SPENT A PENNY in Space, despite some backwards thinking folks screaming about “All the money that was wasted in space”. ALL of that money was SPENT HERE ON EARTH!
It would be interesting to know the cost of the first moon landing updated to current (2021) dollars. (Of course there were huge—and considered necessary—expenditures for years leading up to that.) As for Branson, he went up less than two marathons of distance. (Which, I freely admit, not even the Olympic marathon champion could do, unless he happened to be a passenger on a low-flying space craft.) He could see the Earth better than usual from that height, but of course the moon was just about as far away as before.
If billionaires had gone to the moon we would likely have a robust space industrial base, bases on Mars and the moon and generally be 30-40 years ahead of where we are now in exploration and innovation.
FAKE! Look at the shadow of the lander as compared to the shadow of the astronaut. And the footprints go to the flag but there are no footprints leading away from it. And no stars.

There was a time when the US used to invest in R&D for a better future.

We should be more worried about this problem …

If billionaires paid taxes there would be no national debt.

Streets full of people, all alone
Roads full of houses, never home
Church full of singing, out of tune
Everyone’s gone to the moon
Eyes full of sorrow, never wet
Hands full of money, all in debt
Sun coming out in the middle of June
Everyone’s gone to the moon

We would be seeing a flag made up of all the corporations that were involved, the corporate version of the USA flag.
