Had a suspicious feeling that that tortoise was quicker than a hare.

He was named Hoover because of his talent for sucking up Conch Fritters.
I’m getting the impression that Hoover will soon learn the consequences of getting between Mel and conch fritters, for nobody gets between Mel and conch fritters, with the exception of Bane. (Longtime Sunshine State readers will get this).
