The difference is that the Prosecutor is an officer of the court, so he must tell the truth and must honor his promises, or it will come back to bite him. As it has. Cosby, though, only should tell the truth and should honor his promises, and if not, well, the legal system won’t come down on him for not.

It’s important to keep reminding his defenders that he was freed on a technicality, and not exonerated.

It must be tough on Bok… Cosby is a sexual predator, so Bok’s first inclination is to defend him. On the other hand, Cosby is Black, so Bok’s first inclination is to denegrate him.

If Cosby’s smart, he’ll stay his butt inside his mansion with Camille and enjoy the remainder of his life!

At least he served some time in prison for what he did. I honestly never expected that to happen.

Worst caricature ever of Bill Cosby. I had no idea who it was supposed to be until the 3rd panel.

Perfect Chip, excellent ‘toon. This ruling makes little sense except for possible judicial malpractice. One DA said he would not prosecute due to lack of evidence. How is the next DA bound by that when he has new evidence and additional witnesses that lead to the successful prosecution and conviction of Cosby? There is no doubt as to his guilt because he is on record admitting to roofing women for sex. The sad part of this is that Cosby was was so well loved and respected by everyone. I remember listening to his comedy records as a kid with my friends and literally laying on the floor laughing in tears and out of breath. Sad and tragic for his victims.

Now draw Weinstein, Epstein, Trump, and every other man who has a financial settlement on the record and NDAs with women to avoid prosecution. Right now, Weinstein lawyers are looking for similar technicality loopholes to get that dirtbag out of prison.

The court made the correct decision.

Steele violated Cosby’s 5A right by using the civil suit disclosures for a criminal proceeding. Those disclosures were made ONLY because of the immunity deal made by the previous prosecutor.

Doesn’t matter if the defendant is a scumbag. Govt must not be allowed to break the law to enforce the law.
