If I could look Utterly Cool for even one day a year I’d call it a win.

I wear my sunglasses at night so I can so I can.

Of course Trout thinks she looks cool and wants to wear them every day. The last panel makes it look like she is looking at herself through rose colored glasses. (A closer look indicates those are the frames around the lens, but a person can dream, right?)

Trout is going to be a rebel.

One of my daughters-in-law actually has a store display rack in their bedroom for her shades – and it’s dern near full.

So, according to Agnes’ logic in the last panel, we can only eat pizza on National Pizza Day? I’m sure most of us wouldn’t want to limit our consumption that way. However, I could support limiting the serving of cheese on doughnuts to one day per year (see Agnes, 6/4/2021), although I myself wouldn’t observe that holiday at all.

i wear sunglasses everyday, even when it isn’t sunny, especially when it is windy keeping any debris from getting into my eyes that could damage them.
