You know, given Trump’s inability to tread carefully when it came to dealing with North Korea, I’m quite thankful and surprised we’re not in a Hot War right now…
Unlike some we could name, Biden isn’t bound up in “personal relationships”. Biden and Putin knew going in that they weren’t going to agree on substantive issues, though they both took the opportunity to say some things for press and home consumption. But they are also both quite good† at their jobs, and they DID put some things into discussion (or continued existing ones) that are beneficial to both countries.
As for a “cold war”… I suspect that it’s already as warlike as it will get. Mostly in the cyber-realm, and mostly using proxies… or at least groups that aren’t clearly tied to the governments.
The only winner in that summit was Russia / Putin all you leftists / liberals should wake up, you are living in a dream world. And it is a nightmare for the rest of us.
Enough with this Cold War BS. It’s time to have a real war with Russia. We have been in this Mexican standoff long enough. Time for the US to put their Nukes on the ground in Russia and end the madness. Take out Iran and North Korea at the same time. Throw in Mar -A -Lago for good measure.
I served in the Cold War, in the Intell field and as an Infantryman on the Fulda Gap.
What we’re in now is NOT a Cold War. We’re in an undeclared hot war, with our proxies fighting on the ground and in the internet.
Biden is surrounded by smart people who know this. He will listen to them. That’s why so many voted for him, his ability to listen, consider and make sound decisions.
Traits profoundly missing in his direct predecessor.
Which side are you on, Mike? Which side are you on?
Dementia Joe is… Well, demented. He will mentally (and possibly physically) NEVER complete four years in office. Nice job in picking this guy, Socialist Democrat puppet masters.

Putin has been fighting a cold war since 2016!
I sure wish we’d start fighting back. At least now we have a President who knows Russia is our enemy.

All of the above comments are right where they belong: in the comics section. Miles and miles from reality.

Poke all the fun you want, Biden is still 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 times the President Trump was.

The war must seem pretty hot to the Syrians. And, with hackers, the war can be hot without actual blood spilling.

Well, at least Biden isn’t griping about driving another ball off into the woods of Mar A Lago golf course.

Murderous liar Putin runs a gas station. Republicans still think he’s the cat’s meow.

@RAGs – The reality is that Uncle Joe hasn’t got a clue. His advisors don’t either! Duh!

For Russia, the Cold War never ended. That has been our problem with them these past thirty years.
