If we had a bad reaction, the store paid a few days off

Wasn’t bad for me, I toughed it out

I got my second Pfizer yesterday. I felt crummy the next day, but it didn’t have anything to do with the shot. Plus it was really hot here which didn’t help. My arm hurt more the second time, though.

The list of possible effects that was on the sheet I was given before my shots were the same symptoms as growing old. Aching, joint pain, tiredness, etc. Already had those so getting the shots was no different from normal.

Pfizer didn’t really bother me any more than any flu or the Hep B shots.

But the shingles shots that really knocked me down for about 3 days.

Tetanus boosters are no picnic either, but in my line of work, necessary, and only once every 10 years…

Some people believe that if you don’t react to the 2nd moderna shot, it was not effective. I wonder if there are statistics about what percent of the people who did not react after the 2nd moderna shot?

After my second Pfizer shot I felt body achy and a headache. And I didn’t technically have a “fever”, but my temp was at 99.2. But it all returned to normal the second day after the shot.

It’s an individual differences thing. Small differences in body chemistry can produce big variations in response to immunization.

My shoulder was sore from both shots but nothing major. Last year’s flu shot make me feel much worse. This year’s flu shot will likely too – plus with little to no flu being recorded in the Southern Hemisphere right now, I wonder how they are going to guess on which strains to vaccinate from?

Moderna here, and had Covid. The first day after the first shot was easy, then the next two days were brutal. The 2nd shot wasn’t very bad, some discomfort for less than two days.

My wife never had Covid. She had the Pfizer shots and had no issues with either.
