Any color and/or pattern is downloadable, warmth/coolness somewhat adjustable…style/cut; still a problem.

Science fiction movies and TV have shown us a lot of different clothing styles from the future

Fashion will apparently take some odd turns, but then it always has

All clothing will be holographic, powered by a nuclear battery worn in our belt buckles.

All fashion will therefore need to include belts.

When I wrote this one, I pictured everyone wearing the ultimate in functional, amazing clothing. And then I thought “But the following year, some guy will wear one with a noticeably wider collar”… and after that, it’s a quick descent back to everyone spending a fortune on a closet full of clothes.

Indestructible, maybe. But impossible to clean. No need to wash them. Just trade in your unisex jumpers for a new set every week.
