Someone get Bob Gorrell to read this comic. Maybe he could learn that you don’t have to make up BS in order to draw political cartoons.

The Country has always been racist, just like so many others. We were improving, and that scared many people that they HAD to go back to Jim Crow.

American Indians were brought to the brink of extinction. Blacks were enslaved for centuries. Mexicans were removed. Japanese were put in concentration camps, but we are worried about White people feeling bad?

The truth hurts sometimes but the truth will set you free. How many whites who claim there is no more racism would trade places with a black person?

Is “racism” not God’s will? Seems the bible, (especially the old testament) is full of tribal squabbles, they were not labeled “racist” but the consequence was certainly the same. Were not the “crusades” racists in nature? Is not “In God we Trust” a bit.. racists

Attempting to regulate what is taught in the schools is one of the first steps on the road to totalitarianism and has a long, if not glorious, history going all the way back to the “cup of hemlock” administered in Greece.

If the elephant would quit stooping to quick and cheap “solutions” maybe it would have whitewash that wasn’t so ineffective…

Somebody mentioned cancel culture. Ironic that it’s in the last day when Texas, the heart and soul of redneck rampage, passed a law, “states no public or charter school teacher can be required to discuss current events or controversial issues related to public policy or social affairs. And if teachers do broach those topics, the bill says they must teach both sides without giving deference to any one perspective” First time the GOP wants a “fairness doctrine “ they killed under Reagan unless it’s the Klan/NeoNazi alternative view.

Presumably, those behind the Tulsa community massacre want a say?

That said, though vilified, Neville Chamberlain was a reflection of his time as was the Japanese internment. Don’t know where I was going with that.
