When I was a kid in the school lunch room once someone offered me some carrot cake and I thought the same as Elliott. They told me it was good so I tried a bite and I loved it. I’ve loved carrot cake ever since. But really it doesn’t taste like carrots to me. It’s the delicious cream cheese frosting I love.
Just try it, kid! I hate carrots too. But carrot cake is AWESOME! So long as it has no raisins in it. Zucchini cake, too! But zucchini is something I do like cooked as well.
2 weeks ago the strip was in a rerun week, last week it was new strips, and this week it’s another rerun week. I bet Tony and Gary aren’t rumoring to end the strip in the next few weeks or months because of this pattern…
My husband and father-in-law both love carrot cake. That’s what I make them for their birthdays. And in-between times too :) I eat it, but I much prefer chocolate myself

Any of you Daddy’s Home readers have a favorite root vegetable (aside from carrot)? Perhaps daikon? Skinned, grated, and put on baked fish.

if you have any carrots left over just slice and pickle them, yum…
