    As an immigrant who came to this country 20 years ago, I STILL cannot wrap my head around either pumpkin or sweet potato pies. They are utterly REVOLTING!

    Obviously we’re anthropomorphizing too much.

    My (real life flock of heritage-breed) chickens would be ALL OVER gourd, zucchini, and cucumber pies, as well as the aforementioned broccoli and cauliflower pie.
