My favorite is that he was the only President that personally led the army in a war! The Whiskey Rebellion. Wars might work out differently if this was the practice for each country in each war.
Man did I mess up… I should have listed ‘Marry a wealthy widow’ as part of my to do list. Oh well, too late now I guess. I’m just glad the Mrs. didn’t have ‘Marry someone who can keep me in the lap of luxury’ on her list. She would have been sorely disappointed.
Anybody wonder what his life goals were? He certainly did not want to become the first president as the idea had not occurred until shortly before he took the job.
