Why is Larry feeling like being asked for an opinion? The kid asked for a fact and you may give an educated guess, taking into consideration the facts you know. (Like the fact that the aggregation of mass when forming celestial bodies happened at the same time, so the composition of the mass in similar places of that aggregation disk is similar.)
If you’re a creationist it still stands to reason, that the material used by your imaginary all-powerful entity was still the same for Earth and Moon. But I ignore any arguing on base of a figment of imagination of 10.000 generations.
Today’s cartoon was inadvertently stumbled upon during a phone conversation with a pollster who called my home. She wanted to know what I thought about a particular school issue I hadn’t kept informed on, and I said I hadn’t kept informed about it. She then said, “So… you need more information to have an OPINION?” I said, “Of course. I can’t have an opinion about something I have no facts about.” She disagreed, and seemed to think I didn’t understand the word “opinion”.
